Covid Cello Project
This past week I had the privilege to participate in the Covid Cello Project! This project is being put on by Mr. Tony Rogers of Austin, Texas. It’s true that I do not like Austin—simply because it is not the Austin I remember where you could be a poor student and still have a good, weird time. It costs money, a lot of money, to live in Austin now and that is my biggest criticism of the place.
But enough of that.
The Covid Cello Project was born out of the need to continue creating music. And now, weeks into the project Rogers has used his skills as an arranger, cellist, and artist to create something that is bringing in people from all over the world to play cello together. I have included links to Rogers’ project here. Please consider donating to him, even if you don’t play cello or send in a video. We need artists to have the ability to continue their work.
